Who are we?
We are the Birmingham Clarion Singers, established in 1940, and continuing into the twenty first Century with songs and music from a long established workers’ tradition. We have a wide repertoire, from folk to classical, from ballads to African choral works. We are a socialist choir, and support the road to peace, justice and equality for all.
We welcome contact from people who are interested in what we do, and from those of you who might be able to tell us more about the choir’s past.
We rehearse every Wednesday, 7.30-9.30pm during term-time at All Saints Centre, 2 Vicarage Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 7RA.
We don’t audition, but do ask for a commitment to share our enthusiasm for our ideals, and a willingness to sing at various events.
Excellent! When do you rehearse? I’d like to pay you a visit.
